| First time in India, looking for accommodation in Kerala Hi I'm heading out to india in 2 weeks, I'm planing to head down to Kerala from Mumbai for about 8 days. I've no idea where to start looking for accommodation, I'm looking for somewhere thats around 1000r a night! I want to chill during the day and be around more lively places at night so I can hook up with other travellers! I'm heading back to goa then and I'm in the same boat as in terms of accom etc. Any suggestions people, all welcome! ![]() |

| Hello oisin1 and welcome to India Mike! Since you've started your introduction with a question re accommodation in Kerala, I think it might be a good idea if I moved your post to the Kerala Forum. You could even take a look around that Forum and see if you could pick up some good suggestions for you already there.

| Kerala Accom Hi there & welcome to IM This link may help re Accom in Kerala, not suggesting you book through this Link, just good for Gathering Info & comparisons. http://www.nivalink.com/kerala/homestay.html If you look through some other threads as Aishah suggests, you will come across many which suggest Hiring a car & Driver is often the best way to go when you have limited time. All the best & Happy Travels. BTW, I take it you have had a look in the Hotels section at top of page, there's quite a range of Places(Budget wise)to check out. vandy ![]() |
