Thanks for all the replies.

The replies are all regarding the Bangaram Resort.

I thought all resorts were closed (inc. Kadmat?), I seem to remember that permits were no longer being issued, is this correct?
.
SOS: Missing Person...

Please look at this thread, even if you are not in India.: Have you seen Jonathan Spollen?

He could be anywhere now: You might have met him, be able to help, or give information.

Just been trying to find out about Kadmat, no mention on their website about closures or permit problems, so I looked at their 7 night/8 day 'Air travel packages for foreigners', not a bad rate, it's all built around Kingfisher flights.

So, I checked the timings and prices of those flights.......Kingfisher no longer fly to Agatti (always fun researching travel in India ).

BTW, Kingfisher have extended their Mumbai-Chennai flight to Port Blair Unfortunately, it departs Mumbai only 75 minutes after my flight arrives at the International terminal, so no chance for me to catch it, Kingfisher also now have Pune-Goa flights.

That is true or was unless anything has changed recently. From what I have heard this might go on for some time. There are different stories about why including the Lakshadweep Administration not wanting tourists but hey ho this is India so who can tell!

I think for the moment, I should drop Lakshadweep.
In the meantime, I keep my eyes and ears open :-)
