Elephant place near Varkala

hi there,

I'm trying to get some information on the elephant place near Varkala...

i visited it just before Christmas and there was a 6 month old elephant there.

Does anyone know where it is? We went in a tuktuk (for ages!) and I have no idea what it was called or anything.

They promote it all through Varkala in the little agents next to the bamboo huts, etc...

it's a 20 minute ride from varkala. i wanted to go see the baby elephant but missed out. what exactly do you want to know, emz?

I think the place you are looking for is the Puthen Kulam
elephant sanctuary. We visited it in December and there was a baby elephant there.

The elephant sanctuary (Puthen Kulam) is 6km from 'Parippalli'. Shiva the baby elephant will be 1 year in april.
