You can stay in Coconut Lagoon all day...

You can have an ayurvedic massage...

You can go on a backwaters cruise...

You can do cookery classes...

You can play table tennis...

You can visit the butterfly garden...

You can go on a sunset cruise...

You can visit the bird sanctuary...

You can tour the local village with a guide...

You can hire a speedboat...

You can do yoga...

You can watch the Kathikali...

You can relax in the pool...

You can go fishing...

But you're only there for two nights!

When I go there I relax and eat the glorious food (in the main restaurant, not the seafood restaurant). I swim, have a G&T and relax some more. My wife does yoga, cookery lessons, wildlife things, and when we meet up later in the day/evening, I am relaxed!

It's my favourite hotel in the world - and I'm jealous

P.S. I forgot to say - You won't have time to visit Kumarakom, but there's not much there anyway!

According to Condé Nast Traveller magazine, Coconut Lagoon is one of the top 25 getaway hotels in the world.

You can do all these things at a much lesser price if you sleep in a tent, but that's not really the point!

John, you didn't mention my Top Favourite Thing To do at Coconut Lagoon...

Hire one of the hotels own traditional boats and paddle yourself around for an hour or two. Or three.

And two nights is only one complete day: hardly enough time to even start realaxing
