City and Town Options for Ayurveda?

I am coming to Kerela next week, March 25, to seek ayurvedic treatment. I have Tourette Syndrome and am hoping to do a month or more of deep treatment.

Surfing the net, and this site, it seems there are endless possibilities of where to go for treatment. I want to go to a traditional hospital rather than a spa, but still there are so many options.

My plan at this stage is to show up, and do my research at the ground level, by going around and finding a place that way. My only question now is which city or town to show up in.

I know there are many options, but I was wondering if anybody would care to give me a sense of what the different places offer. For example, is there a city/town that has more hospitals than the others? Or is there a city/town that is particularly beautiful, close to beaches etc.

My central concern is to find the best quality treatment possible, but if I can receive that treatment in a nice environment, all the better.

Any help is appreciated.

This isn't an advertisement, but there is an Ayurvedic hospital and college, and treatment centre at the ashram I used to live at in Bangalore.
It is part of the Art of Living Ashram, but has nothing to do with the philosophy.
You can google artofliving.org ayurveda, and have a look around the site. The best thing to do is ring them, and get them to email you with what they have to offer.

There is a Panchkarma centre, which is very luxurious, but this is for short term visits for a pamper and facial/body stuff. The college and hospital are the ones you want to look at.
Hope this helps.

For therapeutic treatment, stick to reputed well established ones like Kottakal, Dhanwantari, Coimbatore Arya Vaidya, Ayush and many more in Palghat [Palakkad] and in Coimbatore.
