Chennai-Kochi-Kottayam-Munnar/Periyar

Hey Guys,
I am a 21year old guy. I am planning a trip to kerala with my mum. Now i would like to do the crazy wild life threatening stuff too along with an ayurvedic massage for my mum too

So plan for now is :

Day 1 : Fly to Kochi -Visit Athirapillay Falls (Inspired from the movie Raavan )
Spend the night at a nice uptown hotel around Fort Kochi

Day 2 : Go to Kottayam via Houseboat (possible?) If not then via taxi go to Kottayam, halt there and proceed towards Munnar
Spend the night at Munnar.

Day 3: Go trekking down or up to the surrounding Jungle of Munnar
Come back by nightfall to Munnar.

Day 4: Leave Next day morning to Periyar. (Q: Should i leave the prev day itself for Periyar or next morning, i.e Day 4 morn)

Day 5: Tie up with Periyar Tiger Reserve for Bamboo Rafting and Tiger Trail

Day 6 : Come back to Kochi


So how does it seem? Interesting ? Please help me tweak it and of course give me your recommendations about hotels and activities!
Ps: remember as a 21y.o i want to do something crazy!

I am neither 21 nor doing crazy things, but your route is slightly off (too much unnecessary travelling). The natural route is Kochi-Kottayam-Periyar-Munnar-Kochi (or reversed). Additionally, you should remember that travelling in Kerala is measured in hours, even by taxi, and there is no way to do everything on your list in 6 days (unless doing something crazy means speeding through the state and various activities).

Thanks, I agree it makes more sense.

I have now altered my plans a bit. Its the reverse : Kochi-Munnar-Periyar-Kottayam/Allepey. When i get back to Kochi, i ll go to Athirapillay Falls separately. Are the falls really impressive?
Also I will be staying over night at Munnar,Periyar and Allepey - could you suggest a luxury hotel for allepey(Ayurvedic Spa or Beach or something like that) and a close-to-forest resort for munnar

Edit : I have shortlisted Siena Village and Tall Trees at Munnar for now.
