Budget hotel Kochi (Cochin)

Any suggestions for a basic, clean budget hotel with a private bath in Kochi(Cochin)? Thanks

Padikal Guest House (not far from the old Cathedral and Chinese nets) - good clean family run establishment about 700 rupees.

Do you have a preferance for any particular area,

Ernakulam (main area of Kochi) or Fort Cochin.

Yes, I have checked out the hotel section! I would rather stay on the Fort Side.

Have a look at "Vintage Inn". Near Njaliparambu Jn. (KB Jacob Rd). Fort Cochin.

The settings were comfortable, the rooms modest but well appointed; staff were exceptionally helpful and price (from memory) was within budget.

A few suggestions you may want to consider,

Raintree Lodge - Koder House - Fort House -

Adams Old Inn - Beenas Homestay - Spencer Home -

Delight Homestay - Ballard Bungalow -

Ann's Residency - Vasco Homestay.

Try those for Starters.
