"Birthday" nice place in Munnar/Periyar

Hello,
March 20th is my special day and will be either in Munnar or Periyar could any IM people recommend a nice place to stay. Would like to get pampered in luxury just for one day and night.
Cheers.

Hi,

try Lake Palace in Thekkedy (Periyar) @ 10000 INR per night, beautiful hotel right in the heart of Periyar tiger reserve situated on the lake.

Have fun

Absolutely! Lake palace is a great choice.

You can alternatively look at resorts in the chinnakanal area on the outskirts of munnar. Heavenly views of lush green hills all around

Thanks have decided on mundux homestay as the owners are going to put on a picnic and hike for my birthday and take me to a spa / health place. I like that extra special touch of kindness that sold me.

Beware, Don't be surprised if "that extra special touch of kindness" is Tacked Onto your Bill.

In case I forget, hope you have a nice birthday.
