Birthday Dinner

I'm off to Kovalam in December and arrive on my birthday. I'd like to go somewhere nice for dinner to get a real first taste of the place, some great seafood would be lovely. I'll not have time to go and check many places that day so does anyone have any recommendations? I'll be staying between Rockholm and Lighthouse beaches, so staggering distance would be great.

Also any idea of the cost of dinner somewhere fab like the Leela would be very helpful, as I just might have a splurge!

Coconut Grove does great seafood, but it's not exactly the Leela! Just a nice little restaurant on Kovalam seafront

Thanks Mercedes, sounds good. I suspect I'll want go somewhere that's rather more informal after the overnight flight!
