Best place to study Malayalam?

Does anyone know of a private language tutor or school where I can study Malayalam intensively? Thanks in advance!

Thanks!

I wish to study both speaking and writing. By the way, do you happen to know what percentage of Kerala residents speak English? Thanks for your response!

You will find more people to understand your English than your Malayalam... unless your Malayalam is not perfectly pronounced nobody will understand you, especially not the people who don't speak English.

Good luck!

I have been trying to teach my fiancee little bit of Malayalam last three years or so, and so far she has picked up a few words - 'namaskaram' (hello) and 'bhakshanam' (food)! I guess she will pick up a few more words if we move to Kerala, like 'kothuku' (mosquito) and 'ushnam' (heat)..!

Anyhoo, yeah, I would love if there's a Rosetta Stone type Malayalam language pack, but unfortunately, there isn't..!!
