| Cherai Beach on Vypeen Island near Kochi or Kovalam are suitable family beaches. Depending on the age of your children Varkala might be considered although the currents can be strong. |

| i think kovalam beach in trivandrum and cherain beach in ernakulam are the best beaches in kerala... |
