Back from a long holiday in Kerala
Hi everyone. We are recently back from another long holiday in India. This time we stayed only in Kerela; at Varkala, Kottayam and Cochin.
As keen photographers we have updated our web site with lots of new photographs. If you can spare a few minutes we would like you to take a look. http://www.jennyandernie.co.uk/India/India%2001.htm We would also like your comments on our photos. Jenny

I was already having trouble waiting for our Kerala trip to start in December. After seeing your magnificent, beautiful photos, waiting is akin to torture!!
Thank you for sharing the beauty you've experienced there. |

Beautiful set of pictures; and captions to match!

Golden Isle is also known as 'thuruthu'(which means island in malayalam)locally. If you do make it there, ask the boat guys to take you for a spin around the isle. Its the best way to get a close look at the large number and variety of bird life there. |

Agatap, the Keralan fishing villages are at Varkala. One is reached by walking along the footpath that runs along the top of North Cliff; the other one is south of North Cliff and we reached it via a short tuk tuk ride. We went there to go out fishing with the fishermen.
