allepey or varkala beach..

Hi,

I am travelling to kerala next week from mumbai..
For a one day quite beach experience for a couple which one is better.. allepey/varkala..

Initially my mind was fixed on varkala.. but I am taking a houseboat next day from allepey.. so thinkin of avoiding travel..
from varakala to allepey..

In Alleppey we stayed some days in Johnson's The Nest, a nice small home-stay (see the hotel forum).

From there we visited a marvelous quit beach near another guest house and a fisherman's village.

Allepey beach is quiet and pretty good.

yea.. seems I am favoring allepey..
like view abt malayalam house resort..
but seems they have no contact online..

i think Allapey beach is more hygienic than varakala beach
