5 to 6 days honeymoon in kerala..
Hi,
This site has been a lot of help for me.. I will on my honeymoon from 4th nov onwards in kerala.. My rough plan as of now is.. Day 1 reach trivandrum by netravati exp from mumbai around 8 p.m.. I hope to reach Kanyakumari that night DAy 2. Entire dat at KK.. sunrise sunset and some other points.. , maybe padmanapuram palace.. after sunset hop on to varkala.. night at varkala DAy 3. entire day at varkala beach Day 4. varkala to kollam for house boat.. a 24 hr journey to allepey viaa houseboat .. I hope such a trip exists.. Day 5 arrive in allepey.. later proceed to pallakad via ernakulam.. to my relative place.. any places worth seeing in pallakad/ernakulam.. Few of my queries.. How frequent is the bus service from trivandraum to Kanyakumari.. Gueesing a texi for 2 will make it around 1000Rs.. Are there shared taxis available.. Reading on this forum... I feel its a better idea to see the houseboat and then book.. So how much time would that approx take to find and fix.. once I reach kollam.. I guess the rates for a day will be around 5K-6K... ope to see some help.. till i carry on some more research.. |

may be this is a good idea, visit kovallam beach in trivan then go to KK see the sun set in the evening and come back or take some late train to alleppy , u'll get all house boat starting 11 to 12 in afternoon. So u have enough time to choose among them . refer my thread for help on house boats. then next day off to cochin. VJRD |

How's veli near trivandrum to spend for half a day?
I have already made my mind on varkala beach.. So maybe not kovalam .. i.e one more beach again.. |
