4 days in alleppey and surroundings.
hi,
we(i,my wife and 5yrs son) will plan to visit alleppey and surroundings on coming september. we planned to visit alleppey,kumarakom,peermade or thekkady. we dont like to stay(night) in houseboat. we would like to stay in homestay on the banks of the lake or backwaters. we also dont like to spend churches or temples. what will we must to do in 4 days. our favours are,watching boat race,riding small boat,visit coir industry and snake boat industry,etc. pls help. thanks suresh babu. |

The Nehru Trophy Boat race is second Saturday of August, in Alleppey, each year. Maybe you could fit this in to your dates another year.
I'm sure you can happily spend four days doing much of the stuff you mention: I know I could
