2nd & 3rd August trekking in kerela

Hi,

I will be going to Kerela (near Alleypey) for trekking. Let me know if anybody is interested, it is just me till now.

Just a brief background, i am working for a VC fund that invests in social entrepreneurship, thus got to go see a small scale business near alleypey on thursday and friday. Just thought i would take the weekend off and backpack somewhere there.

I am an Indian, which may put me in the minority group but have travelled extensively in US (studied there) and Europe a little.

Anyway let me know if anybody wants to join me.

No plans as of now of where i plan to hike, just will make them in the next 2-3 days i guess. Inputs are welcome.

Whilst in Allepey area,try and do a Country Boat
Journey through the smaller canals,it's amazing.
You will see how local canal population live.
Approx cost is around 300rps per hour for a boat
to yourself.

Lovely photos Vandy. Ive done my fair share of backwater trips and am not particularly a backwaters fan, but your photos do make them look very inviting.
