I intend to visit tirupati this december. I will arrive the night before and leave and 12.30 pm next day (train connections).
Will i be able to make the darshan within this time.
Also can i purchase special darshan (or any other fast mode) in advance for that day.

Thanks,

Hi Allen,

Very much Difficult I would Say . You could try out with TTD information centre in newdelhi to Book Seva . Even if you reserve this seva , Still it will be rushing-kind of only to get your train back @12:30 pm !

And Transportation is not available / possible [Government buses Or Even private Shared Jeeps] between 00:00 to 03:00 Hours from Tirupathi to Tirumala Hills.

Hope it helps !

There are 3 General Queues Viz.

Dharma Darshan - Free Queue
50 Rs Ticket - 1 Laddu Free
60 Rs Ticket - 2 Laddu Free

And there is no much difference in "Timings" beteen 50 rs and 60 rs Queues as such .

But Definitely "Sevas" make a Lot of Difference. For Ex, If you are able to Book "Suprabhatha Seva" which is Daily @ around 3.30 am , for sure you could have darshan and come out of the temple by 5 am !

Waiting Time Differs a lot and Normally "Thursdays" the crowd will be less [This is just in comparative terms for Tirumala Crowd]..

General Info:-

1) As you are in time-crunch, try to Book Seva in delhi itself
2) If at all if you are not getting the reservation, As soon as you get down at tirupathi Railway station, there will be several Booths by TTD where they will always keep an "online Board" [Chalk writings in a black board kind of ]specifying what is the approximate Date / time of Darshan if you get the ticket now. You could take a call there and please add atleast around 2 hours + for the actual Darshan time and it's just an indicative timings
3) If you are trying in Delhi, Try out for Suprabatha Seva Or AAD seva which has more Tickets [Per Day quota] and if at all if you are married or going with your parents, you could try out "Kalyanathsavom seva" [ Basically for this seva, one among the group should be in Dhoti and they will give one Saree and dhoti as Prasadam ]
4) You refer to www.ttdsevaonline.com for the sevas TTD have and anyays this site just sells "internet quota only" and will show always "All Tickets sold for all sevas" but the actual tickets for Seva is much more. And Only "Sevas" could be booked and not the normal 50 Rs or 60 Rs Darshan tickets in Advance.

As My personal experience goes, Waiting time in 50 Rs ticket is 1 Hour on a Thursday and once I went on Jan 13th and with same 50 Rs Ticket and I had a chance for Darshan on Jan 16th !...

Hope it helps

Tirupathi is really becoming a nightmare. Free darshan people during navarathri time were locked up for 2 full days. Some guys are selling darshan tickets in black for 500/= per head, we normally do this. The best way to have darshan these days are the conducted balagi darshan tours organised by APTDC. Some of the guys from bangalore regularly do this.

No Problem Allen and if you are not able to book Seva from delhi itself, You could ,

A. Get to Bangalore from Delhi

1. Book Well in advance one day trip conducted by APSRTC / KSRTC to Tirumala Hills [ This is a Guaranteed one with 100% ontime Darshan ] with no hassles

B. Get to Chennai from delhi

1. Book well in advance the one day "tirupathi Darshan Tour" conducted by Tamilnadu tourism / APSRTC [This is also including Guaranteed Darshan] with no hassles

Just for Eg. Tamilnadu tourism's online portal for booking this Trip is

https://www.ttdconline.com/tourdetails.aspx?tourid=6 and it seems the "darshan ticket" cost is Rs.100 nowadays !

You could do a google search to find out the related "online Sites" to book these tours and FYI, these tours also have very limited Seats only !!!!!!!!

Have a Nice Trip Ahead !!!!!!!
