Things to do in Hampi with kids?
Hi,
We are going to be having either two or four days in Hampi in Feb, with two kids (aged 8 and 9). Trying to decide how long to spend, either two or four days, (ie, three or five nights) Our younger son is not a great walker (will play football for ever!); not sure if four days might be too much. It sounds great to me, I think I could stay there for ages. Any comments? Thanks |

walk, climb small hills, explore ruins, cross a river in a coracle(round country boat), bicycle, explore the villages around.... lots of other activities.
Plan for 3 days at first, if you like it then extend by another 2 days. |

Read up with them the history of the Vijaynagar Empire beforehand. If it strikes their fancy, the place will come alive for them.
