Famous (Top 4) temples Around Kumbakonam :

1) Alangudi - Guru Temple - You need to take the Mannargudi road and this place is around 15 kms from kumbakonam -- Road will be average to below average after the initial 5 kms !! This temple is unique and only one of it's kind in tamilnadu

2) Thirumanachery - Temple for Marriages - It's Believed that people whose marriage is getting unduly delayed will get married after visiting this place - You have to take Left in Kuthalam Busstand ( Kuthalam is in Kumbakonam - Mayiladurai road) ; Thirumananchery is around 20 kms from Kumbakonam


3) Thirukadaiyur - Temple for Long Life - You might definitely have the complete info about this place I'm sure ..


4) Thirunallar (Sani Temple) - Very famous - As you are going upto thirukadaiyur, try out and visit this place which is very much nearer to karaikal ( From Thirukadaiyur , you can reach thirunallar via Poraiyar -- Please Check this to be doubly sure once you reach thirukadaiyur)
