recent photos of Hampi and Mysore

My family just spent five weeks in South India and I've posted some web pages of photos from the trip.

All my travel photos (I live in China) of China, Viet Nam, Bali, Cambodia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand and more can be found from my index page at:

Hampi is at:

and Mysore and Somnathpur photos are found at:

Ian,
back in China, where the beer is cheap

OK, OK; beer is the just about the ONLY thing cheaper in China than India.

Thanks for those links. I've taken a look through most of your albums (lots of the destinations are on my forthcoming round-the-world trip!) - great photos, really enjoyed seeing them. :-)

Olympus C-750

I use an Olympus. Great little digital; easy to use controls, good meter, sharp 10X optical lens. The newer one is the 770, same features except for improved video function (just fills up the card, I don't use it)

I also use an iPod to store the photos while I travel

love the "family bathing together"

http://homepage.mac.com/ian_mcall/So...toAlbum31.html

i could look at it for hours! the details in what everyone is doing (mother smiling with a tilted neck, son confused by life, daughters so focused on their work, father brushing with a neem twig? yet his fist isn't tense.). and love the colors, and all of their little plastic items and cloth that create such nice accents all over. especially that creamy pink soap dish.

the boy's precious belly, and the girl's attractive backs.

lighting, vegetation, the walls, the wire across the top, the sheets of plastic in the back.

and back to momma's smile!
