Need help planning a trip to Jog falls
We have planned a trip to Jog falls from Mangalore starting from 15th January morning by public transport and want to stay a night in Jog falls.Is there any direct bus from Mangalore or Udupi?From where we can catch a bus for Jog falls?Which hotel has best view and accommodation facilities there?After spending a night we want to return back to Bangalore on16th morning.Is there any bus to Bangalore in daytime?
Yes there are private buses from Mangalore to Jog Falls.
One is from SGMT which leaves in morning between 6AM and 7 AM from Mangalore.
And in evening there is Durgamba and SGMT which leaves after 9 PM. And there is one which leaves around 10.30 PM. Do check in bus stnd for exact timing.
Night there are private luxury buses. Day time there are KSRTC buses. You can also take a bus to Shimoga and take the afternoon train.
