Hi Velu, I've been trying to enter KSTDC's website to book at one the hotels you mention, but it's all dead links for me. (I've already crossed referenced in Indiamike and no joy) Any tips, please?

Narrowed down to four after further reviews:
1. Hotel Dasaparakash paradise
2. Parklane Hotel
3. Hotel Mysore Mayura Hoysala
4. Ginger Hotel

Any input on Parklane appreciated.

Budget revised to 2500/night/room

Yes, You are right. I do not think any KSTDC website is available where we can book their Hotels Or Tours online!

Calling the respective Hotel and doing the Tele-booking is one option Or you can give it a Try in ITDC in your country who might help you !

But From My experience with Few of their properties is that,Always Walk-in option Worked and I never Faced "Rooms Not Available" in KSTDC's Mayura Group of hotels but I know this might not be an ideal option !!

Thanks for the email and the info re hotels.....There is one hotel that looks peaceful and somewhat private. It is the Ritz hotel ....Do you know it and what are your thoughts about it for a week or more stay. Thanks in advance Russel.

Hi,

Hotel Ritz Mysore , I do not have any personal experience but this is at one of the most Crowded neighbourhood ! Mysore bus stand is 500 metres away with few cinema halls around ! . This Hotel complex looks calm but once you are out of this campus it will be over-crowded & Noisy !!

You can try Hotel Ashok on Irwin road. It is pretty decent and should not cost more than 350 - 400.
