Monsoon getaway to Kalasa
Kalasa is an awsome place for a monsoon getaway from Bangalore. It is in chikmagalur district between Belur and Kudremukh.The drive took 5.5 hrs from Bangalore.
I had stayed at a coffee plantation and it was a great experience.
Other than just lazing around the rain, 3 places of interest nearby are Kalasheshwari temple in Kalasa, Annapurneswari temple at Hornadu and Hanumangundi falls near Kudremukh.
