In Karnataka, there are many places to see. Before I used to think that there is hardly anything see in Bangalore. But quite often I find new places as I started to travel different parts of the city. Before I used to go in a bus, where you can hardly see anything.

Lets make a list for people, so that they enjoy these beautiful places.

SRS Betta: 40 km from Bangalore on the Bangalore-Mysore highway after Ramnagara, take a deviation to the left towards kanakapura.

Down this road for another 5 km and you start seeing directions for SRS betta. This is a small hillock with a temple. Good views from high up there.

Hardly any urban crowd, just a few villagers who come to offer their prayers. Watch out for the monkeys though.

Another way to reach is to reach kanakapura and take a deviation to the right on the road leading to Ramnagara. A stretch of 25 odd km, single lane road but very picturesque passing through small villages and cutting through farms!

Kudlu teertha (Kudlu falls) one of the best waterfalls in udupi district.

Distance : Approx 20 km from Hebri. While driving from hebri to Agumbe, after approx 5-6 kms, an arch would lead to kudlu theertha falls. vehicles cant go to complete distance, there is atleast around 6 kms of walk. Locals would be able to guide you.

Note: If visiting after\during Monsoon period, take precautinary measures to avoid leeches

Ramadevara Betta: This is another less explored place near Bangalore.

We need to take right, just before reaching Ramanagara, and it's 3 km from the Bangalore-Mysore road.

The area around Ramadevara Hill is a Vulture sanctuary which aims to protect the "Long-billed vultures (Gyps indicus)".

There is an old Ram temple and a natural pond, half way through the hill.

We can hike to the hill top following a well marked footpath to the left, which provide panoramic views of Ramanagara hills and the valley.

There are plenty of trees and hike to the hill top is relatively easy, except for the last stretch which is a bit steep.
