kushalnagar and nagarhole

im gonna do that trip this weekend starting from bgl. i also like to see nagarhole national park.

1. how do i get best from kushaslnagar to nagarhole?

2. i dont wanna stay at the quite expensive lodges at nagarhole. whats the best strategy to see the park but getting a cheap accomodation?

If u backpacking n dont mind taking public buses you could take a bus from kushalnagar to virajpet and another from virajpet that goes to kutta (the nearest town to nagerhole)...u could also take a bus from kushalnagar to madikeri n stay there for a couple of days n proceed furthur...

Someone suggested Kabini Lodge in another post, and I agree. I think the wildlife that still is left in India is in north, not south. It's extremely sad what has happened to India's wildlife; its all poached and gone. Even the Tigers that have been claimed to be 5000 in number, Tiger conservation experts say are actually no more in total than 200 in the entire country...

u can take a KSRTC bus to virajpet. There are lots of direct buses to Virajpet from Bnglr. from there u can take a private or KStc bus to Nagarahole... Check the site in my signature.. U may find details abt hotels to stay..
