Dinesh - the link to this site doesn't seem to be working - check it out and delete it if not going.

That's because it was four links, typed with no space.
Have edited: they are OK now.

This link will help you with the travel plans.. As Far as I know, there is no direct bus from Bangalore to Kundapur in Day time but there are quite a many to Mangalore [ Volvo / Rajahamsa -- Push Pack deluxe type] buses in day time. From Mangalore, you could easily travel to Kundapur !. Bangalor-Kundapur Hope this helps Cheers Velu |

Hope you people had a nice time in Kundapur.
Buses are the best way to reach Kundapur from Mangalore. trains are not that frequent. Be sure to visit Maravanthe some 12 kms from Kundapur Thanks for saving turtles there. My native place is near Kundapur... |

Hi, I live in Scotland and I am going to Kundapur too in October. When are you going?
For travelling from Mangalore to Kundapur, is it possible to buy the tickets in the bus station? Thanks |

dont worry about bus tickets-you'll have a bus ready to depart waiting at Mangalore bus terminal at any given point of time.. buy while boarding the bus

What enidhi says is especially true from private bus stand [ Locally called as State bank bus stand] and from Mangalore railway Station this bus stand is hardly 2 kms and from this bus station , the bus frequency to Kundapura is just too much ! .
There is another bus stand which is for Government buses and called as KSRTC bus stand from where the bus frequency is Very Minimal ! Hope this helps |
