Hi Gambler...
At the n'th moment I had dropped the idea of driving the vehicle since aged parents were supposed to accompany.  But I alone, did made travel to Dharmasthala & Kukke by KSRTC bus on that scheduled 6th & 7th date only. The stretch from Gundya to Kukke and the stretch between Highway to Dharmasthala is OK to manage. thatz it. The major problem is lying at Shiradi Road. As per my observation it has become worst from bad condition. Four wheelers were struggling to pass thru including heavy vehicles. If you are confident of managing that shiradi road by driving slowly you can go ahead.  Itz my personal opinion. Anyway let's wait other IMers may throw some light on this who has travelled recently. Please update me once you are thru that trip. Jay  |
