Is visiting Nagarahole in the month of september good

Hi all,
Me and a couple of friend are planning to go to Nagarahole via madikeri (from udupi) in a car. May be on 12/08/09.

I wanted to know if visiting nagarahole in the month of septemer is a good idea, since it is raining haevily in udupi (the place where i stay). Will it be raining all the time, how will the weather be.

What are the activities that can be done in nagarahole other that the jeep safari,

any other suggestion are welcome.

Hi Royster,

Before traveling make sure to inquire about the safari.I visited Nagarhole in the first week of August but the Safari was canceled due to heavy rains.

do u know te website of the nagarahole guest house tariff rate, i had use it a long time back , but now i dont remember it.

Hi

We were there in Oct last year - had a really good time though didn't see Tigers - grass was pretty high. Saw lots of other animals though. Also went to Wayanad nearby - very similar.
