Information on Bylakuppe and Mysore?

Howdy All,
I am looking for Information on Bylakuppe and Mysore?
I am thinking of going to Buddhist school there (possibly Sera Jey or Gyudmed Tantric Monastic University)

I was wondering:
1. Weather throughout the year, just how hot does it get?
2. Mosquitoes and malaria?
3. Is this a restricted area needing permits?
4. If so how long of a stay is allowed?
5. Local dangers?

The permit (PAP) have to apply 3 months in advance.
To visit but you do not need permission, to stay overnight yes.
I did not see danger or in Mysore or Bylapuke.
I love Mysore.

What is needed to live there maybe for 5 years? I have a 10 year tourist visa but I'm thinking I'll need a student visa to go to school there?

I think the maximum time tourist visa is also 5 years and 5 years studies, but is a long time! you're lucky!
I don´t know more information for so long ...
