How to reach Nagarahole at 6am

Hi,

We are planning to go to Nagarahole NP from Bangalore. We want to reach Nagarahole early and be part of 6AM Safari. Heard that few roads to Nagarahole NP are closed in night. We are planning to start at Bangalore around 10pm or 11pm. Could you please suggest how we can make it to Nagarahole safari at 6am. (Note: Option of reaching previous day and halting nearby is not possible for us.)

No Road is closed between "Bangalore to Nagarahole NP" !

Bangalore- Mandya-Shrirangapatna-Mysore[ At that time, there won't be any traffic and do not use Bypass but just get into Mysore City]- Hunsur- Take Left - After Few kms you will see a board guiding to Nagarahole NP and take that road and you will be in Nagarahole NP !

Anyways Safari is between 06:00 to 09:00 am and for sure you can get into the second Safari [Which will be around 7:15 with ease]

Any idea of the weather there? is it raining heavily yday/today?

Any not to be missed attractions to be seen around Nagarahole.. We hired Innova and are planning to go the Nagarahole Safari & then Irpu falls.. any further suggestions?

Yes there were intermittent rains in All over coorg including Nagarahole NP / Wayanad Areas and probability of rains is there is what I feel [Considering the climatic conditions in Mysore & around] !

You may include "Thirunelli Temple" & " Tholpetty WLS " [ Wayanad District, Kerala and is around 15 kms from Nagarahole NP]! .

If you want better & Different route, From Tholpetty you can drive towards Sulthan Bathery [Around 50 kms] and you can get back to Bangalore Via Muthanga WLS [ One 20 kms of Road with fantastic scenery and probability of Sighting Elephant herds is more] Via Gundlupet-Mysore !
