How do we get home from Hampi ?

the best thing seems to be to stay in hospet over night on the day it returns and stay at Hampi for 3 nights instead of 2

leave Margao 8.13 am to Hospet on 28th December stay hampi 28th 29th 30th...go to Hospet stay 31st travel to Margao on 1st thursday.

I think you're wasting a lot of time traveling....

Delhi-Mumbai-Goa-Hampi-Goa-Mumbai, I feel sure I could squeeze an extra 16 hours there somewhere, as I said in the other thread, either.....

Delhi (fly to) Goa-Hampi-Raichur (for train)-Mumbai

or Delhi-Mumbai-Raichur-Hospet-Goa-Mumbai

I see, yes. I guess that disclaimer holds true: Always check any alternate results with the official site at http://www.indianrailways.gov.in/ . Not all that easy to use though I find, but then railway timetables rarely are by nature I guess.

I dunno, give me non-web travel planning any day.
