Lonely Planet '07 lists their phone number as 08272-238339. As does Outlook Traveller's '03/'07 Weekend Breaks From Bangalore.
The number worked for me last April. I had meant to stay in this place (so Honey Valley Estate, in Kakkabe, in Coorg/Kodagu in south-west Karnataka), but it was the end of my trip and things transpired differently. Mean to return to stay there this winter. While their huts and rooms are listed in LP '07 as ranging from Rs. 200 with shared bathroom to Rs. 700 and up for a double with private bathroom (up to Rs. 1000 according to OT), when I called they offered me a room for Rs. 100 (or 150 then?) I think. Don't know what room of course, and may have been because it was off-season. The place certainly comes recommended by anyone in the area I mentioned it to; all I know is they sounded friendly and spoke good English when I called. They were likewise happy for me to call back to cancel later; I suppose many tourists neglect this. It is said to be smack-bang within the forests. Calling ahead to reserve is essential; and if you don't arrive with your own four-wheeled transport, it's said to be an hour's hike uphill. There may be jeeps from Kakkabe (itself said to be about a 1.5 hours' bus ride from Madikeri), quite possibly not at night. Alternatively, let them know you're coming and they'll pick you up. My impression for the latter arrangement was you just call ahead about your room, then call again either when leaving from close-by, or and preferably upon arrival in Kakkabe.
