I was in Hampi in first week of Nov. It was scorching hot then. Around 35 degrees. The morning were cool and breezy.
Humidity levels are very low (As you are "far away" from any coast). Dont expect to sweat, just tan.. carry sun-screen. A cowboy hat can also work.
This part of the world is "more dusty" (Hampi actually is!). Something to cover your nose would be a good deal.

As pointed out, there is a lot to be covered walking. Plan accordingly.

Was emptying un-necessary things from my wallet.
Found a piece of paper on which i had written the contact no of Reservation center of Hospet Bus depot.

08394228802.
I had enquired about bus from Hospet to Pattadakkal. It's at 1PM.
Hope it helps.

Can anyone suggest me a decent accommodation (around rs. 500 per day) that's near to the main bus stand? I am traveling solo and all I look for is a clean room with comfortable bed, a closed concrete roof with a ceiling fan.

Thank you in advance..

Simply get an auto and ask the auto driver and he will take you to good place. Most of the accommodations are as paying guests and are around the bazaar and bustand. So will be decent with a bed, fan and bathroom.
