Hampi eco-friendly accommodation
Does anyone know the name/contact details of an apparently lovely eco-friendly place to stay in Hampi? The person that told me about it can't remember the name, details etc. It might even be a retreat centre of some kind - I'm just not sure.

The only advice I can offer here is to get out of town and across the river. There are several lovely little places by the riverside along the road in that area. We chose Shanti Lodge and paid next-to-nothing for a hut with patio and hammock, with river views and cows a few feet away. We loved Hampi, but from over there the noise of the town seemed a whole world away.
