halebid, belur and sravanabelgola in 1 day from hassan

hi all

I don't have much time, so I plan to arrive hassan at night, next day start the trip in about 08:00 or earlier, visit halebid, belur and sravanabelgola. I have got to arrive bangalore bus station before 19:00. Should I rent a car or something else in hassan, then back to hassan to take a bus to bangalore?

Hi,

If you arrive in Hassan the earlier night, Start on the next Day around 5 am to Sharavanabelagola . That's a Rocky hill with no shades which gets heated up even around 10 am ! . It will take around 2 1/2 hours to experience Sharavanabelagola and then followed by Halebeedu and Belur , Yes you could complete and get back to Bangalore by 7 If you are starting from Hassan around 3 pm by public bus [ Buses are sooooo Frequent]..Sort of Whirlwind Trip !!

You could hire a cab from Hassan and do all the 3 places and get down at hassan and board Bus to Bangalore !

i would also suggest to do sravanabelagola in morning because climbing 600+ steps with overhead sun is not very enjoyable
