goa to gokarna by taxi?

has anyone made the way from goa to gokarna by taxi? does anyone knows the price?
we are 3 people with much package and we think this would be an easy way?

what are the prices for bus or train, someone has an idea?

Cant help you much bout the price but am sure some local goan s soon shall come to your rescue I have always driven down from mumbai to goa and on the last two ocassions had driven down to gokaran which takes around 3 hr s although it aint very far !! But u get right to the tip southernmost part of goa which i remember vaguely as canacona i think that s the last stop the n comes karnataka border .
The first big townn is karwar nice and neat especially when u exit karwar one of a kind experience u drive uphill leaving the sea behind spectacular view s at certain point s !!
ok price i remember one of my freinds paying 5k for a to and fro same day journey in a comfortable toyota innova which was packed with 6 adult s and 3 kids !!
But just a drop prices may vary !!
where in gokaran are u planning to stayover ???
