few Queries

i have few Queries in my Itinerary.plz guys tell me if anything is wrong with it..
kolkata to bangalore by duronto.
reach bangalore on sunday 17th april at 4 pm.
Q1. stay in bangalore or move to mysore on the same day?? (as i really want to see mysore palace on sunday night)
Q2. is it possible to reach mysore palace before 7 pm?
next day visit mysore.
Q3. half day enough for mysore?
Reach ooty Monday evening/night.
Tuesday ooty
Wednesday morning ooty.
After lunch ooty to mettupalayam by toy train.
mettupalayam to coimbatore (Wednesday):-Take a bus, reach coimbatore.
Coimbatore to kanyakumari:-(Wednesday mid night)
Kanyakumari Exp(16381)12:15 AM(Coimbatore Jn)12:15 PM(Kanyakumari)12h.All Days.

Reach hotel by 1 pm. Take rest. See sunset.
Thursday stay
Friday stay
Saturday evening leave for Chennai.
Since we are reaching chennai by 7 am , if possible visit mahabalipuram.
Take a flight to kolkata.
plzlet me know if this can be done?P.S i will be travelling with my husband and 2 and half yrs son.

A1 / A2 : sadly you will not be able to do it because it takes at least one hour to get out of Bangalore city traffic, add to that about half plus hour to shift from railway station to bus terminal.
BLR – MYS = 140 Kms [3.5 Hrs minimum, by AC Volvo bus | 1 Hr for traffic + 2.5 Hrs Travel]
Takes me about 3.5 hrs minimum by car almost every fortnight traffic !!!

So you should reach Mysore by 8 PM, and sadly the palace lights are switched off 8 pm on Sunday .
A3 : Half day for mysore is no way enough .

• Chamundi hill
• Mysore Zoo [Biggest in India]
• Karanji lake [Butterfly park]
• Jagan mohan palace + Art gallery [ Raja Ravi verma + other paintings ]
• KRS Dam & botanical garden with musical fountain
• Talakadu temple complex

The rest of the plan sounds cool and doable, try to catch a flight to BLR and a train from Chennai back .
Might have to skip mahabalipuram , time I think would be a constraint .
