Driving to Coorg from bangalore

I am planning to drive from bangalore to coorg in my WagonR next weekend(1,2,3 May).
Since i have never driven on hilly roads, would appreciate if anybody could tell me how difficult is the drive actually is ? I have driven a lot inside city,and I am quite skillful at driving through traffic though

If you plan to visit madikeri & surroundings nothing much to worry about the hilly drive. It's just 15kms hill drive from a place called Suntikoppa to Madikeri.

Coorg is not very hilly to be worried about , however, the roads are not very broad and is winding. so be careful on the turns as the locals are very fast drivers and towards night maybe a little tipsy ! Lovely place to visit !

Yes the roads are not really hilly but towards Coorg some stretches (or at least were when I went there in December) are really bad, broken road and all. But overall the drive should not pose any major challenges.

Thanks to all the tips from fellow india-mikers. I just completed an excellent trip to coorg, nagarhole, dubare, and around. Lovely places, and good roads overall. A few broken patches here and there though.
