Coorg/kerala homestays /Nagarhole

Hi everyone,
I`m going trekking in Coorg for a week before X-Mas,followed by a week in Kerala.Does anyone have any good recommendations re homestays/trekking etc.Id like to visit the Nagarhole national park on the way to Kerala.Can I just turn up in a taxi & hire a jeep there?Any help or advice would be gratefully received.Thanks.

Yes. That's possible. Nagarahole NP Safari timings are 6 - 9 am and 3 - 6 pm and the forest deparment has a "Van" for Safari [ Around 25 people and the trip lasts 1.15 Hours ]! From there you can continue to Calicut in around 4 to 4 1/2 Hours in Taxi!!

i would recommend coorg kutta its very close to Wayanad and vey good trek spots are available. Stay at one of the homestays and they can help you. its real good forest area dont miss
