Bangalore, Coorg, Ooty, Mysore?
Hi,
We (2 adults + 2yr infant) are planning a 5 to 6 night trip to Bangalore, Coorg and Ooty from Kolkata. I have seen several threads on this trip but still needed to post a one of my own as every trip is a unique one.
Need advise on
a)is it hectic
b)any suggestion to improve the plan
c)planning to squeeze a halt at Mysore but not sure at which leg
Plan is as follows
Day 1 - Kolkata to B'lore followed by cab to Coorg, rest and stay overnight at Coorg
Day 2 - Sightseeing and stay overnigth at Coorg
Day 3 - Sightseeing and stay overnigth at Coorg
Day 4 - Travel to Ooty, stay overnight at Ooty
Day 5 - Sightseeing and overnight at Ooty
Day 6 - travel to Bangalore
In this plan I want to squeeze in a halt at Mysore for sightseeing in and around Mysore. Please suggest.

cut out either ooty or coorg.. they both are quite similargo to Mysore instead..both the places have the same distance from mysore..
id say.. go from Bangalore to Mysore, bandipur and then to ooty..
I would recommend you skip Ooty, and do Bangalore - Coorg - Mysore - Bangalore. You may even get to spend a day in Bandipur or Nagarhole.
I am recommending Coorg over Ooty simple because Ooty is very crowded and touristy, while Coorg is quieter and slightly more untouched.
