Annapara Home Stay

Has anyone stayed at the Annapara home stay? WE have a choice of the raincountry resort or the Annapara. Which is the best for tours, food, views and access also price I suppose although I dont mind being frivolous with money on occasions? It worries me about the long drive to Raincountry Resort up a steep windy unmade road and I wonder what it will be like in August with all the rain. Are the places a bit quiet during this month? We went to Corbett Nat. park last year and they had emptied the pool, threw us out in the middle of our booking for a big school party, fed us rubbish and took us on an elephant safari which didn't even go in the park. So I am a bit apprehensive about resorts and their functioning in low season. Do we get minimal facilities and tours or are most places full on even in the monsoon? Thanks for any answers. I have so far found this forum great for the helpful answers. JACKIE
