A trip to get relax
A trip to get relax
Hi Buddies,
I am an another Bangalorean who is fade up with coding and deadlines.
My Wife is pregnant and having her 7 months now. She took off from her office and really got bored alone in these days.
So, We are looking for a change a short one, couple of days (you know deadlines do not allow u to go for a long one).
What we planed, is to go some resort at any closer place with good scenic beauty, spend two days with relaxation and come back.
I have lot of places in my mind but really can't fix some good locational resort to spend.
Please suggest some place like this, my constraints are:
Cottages kind of place is also fine with us.
Please suggest some resort/place guys. I need it within this week.
Thanks in advance
Regards,

My suggestion is DOT NOT take any risk at this critical juncture of your life. Avoid all kind of travel.

Like I often say, get a hold of Outlook Traveller's Weekend Breaks from Bangalore http://traveller.outlookindia.com/bookdetail.aspx?id=13. It's a good series and widely available in India, and will have more tips for you than you can handle.

Thanks all for your quick replies.
@nayan: yeah that's why I mentioned less than 250KM. I appreciate your suggestion. Any place/resort you know within that range???
@machadinha: Nice one. Will try to check it as fast as possible. And if you already been through the book, please suggest some.
@tandonmanu: Thanks for your suggestion, will be extra cautious in the trip, but need the change really, specially for her.

I have, but really looking for entirely different things; so, I guess you'd best have a look for yourself
(Notably with regards to hotel prices and driving directions and stuff, do take note of their publishing date. My edition and probably the current one is dated 2003, reprinted 2007, but it's specified nowhere that I've seen if such practical data have been revised with the latter, or to what extent if they have. The general info should remain plenty to get you going, though. Then hotels you find can be called up if the numbers still work to enquire about current rates, etc.)I guess for driving maps, Eicher comes highly recommended, http://maps.eicherworld.com/; have a look at their guidebooks section while you're at it to see if they have anything to cover the region.
