Hi everyone,

I've read so many good things about singhvis haveli that me and my buddy have decided to stay there for the night (2 days 1 night in Jodhpur). We will be using a lot of night trains during our trip, so we wanted to hit it big (but not too pricey hehe) and we get a chance to sleep in a hotel.

I wanted to know what was the difference between the Sheesh Mahal suite and the Maharani suite, both have been quoted to me by email for 2200rps for an april 2nd stay...Any suggestions on these, best views, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again!

Guillaume

i can't answer your question about the difference between these two suites but both are great and in the best part of the haveli - the top. whatever you choose you can relax. the both will have some views of the fort but as fort is all around, you will see it also from different cascades and roof top areas the haveli is full of. so IMHO it really doesn't matter so much to have a room with a fort view here - we didnt and it was perfectly fine and romantic enough.
the most important is that you will stay at one of the nicest places in jodhpur as far as real hospitality goes. i've spent one night and three days there recently (don't ask how but i can explain that). it's a great place to slow down and spend a few wonderful days. the brothers who runs the place knows how to make it easy for everyone.
