Registering a complaint

I recently visted the Umaid Bhawan Place. Whilst eating dinner I was attacked by a giant rat. Im mean this thing was huge. Ratzilla!

The Taj Group have been, difficult, unsympathetic, bias and extremely insensative to the whole situation. Not what you expect from a world class hotel.

I wish to notify public bodies of this incident:-

1) National Board for Tourism
2) Health & Safety

Does anyone have any email addresses for these prganisations or any idea of how i can contact them?

Any other ideas of organisations would be greatly appreciated.

Best Wishes

J

Thumbs down Ratzilla...

Its very sad what happened but if you say that the staff and management were cold about it,then too bad. Atleast we dont expect this from TAJ GROUP.

The first complaint primafacie should be registered here :-

http://www.tajhotels.com/ContactUs/h...ts/default.asp

and thereafter you can inform these departments :

www.rajasthantourism.gov.in (Rajasthan govt site)

http://tourism.gov.in/ (India Govt site)

Although iam not sure what action they will take.

Anyway best way is posting this in all the forums you are active so that it comes in knowledge of responsible guys from Taj Group.

Thanks for your response Smart Guy.

Trust me i have complained on numerous occassion to the Taj. I have also writtne to the MD. They seem intent on denying the situation, despite theyre being 4 witnesses?

I really want to try and report this to Health & Safety? any ideas?

Lodging a complaint with Jodhpur Municipality (http://jodhpurmc.org/) should also help !

Rajasthan Tourism feedback link is here http://www.rajasthantourism.gov.in/C.../FeedBack.aspx

It's just another example of how the credit crunch is affecting us all, the big cats have deserted the large hotels, and while the cats are away.....

No such thing here!

You should have requested the rat to give you the complaint book immediately. After the event, you just cannot get them to listen at all.

Yes, it's easy to laugh, and no, I wouldn't care to find rats in the restaurant when I'm eating
