how is weather now ?

Hi guys !
I am planning to visit Jodhpur and Jaisalmer for 4 days starting 12th Oct.
Just wanted to know how is the weather nowadays. Would it be enjoyable to roam around during the day ? And do camel safari ? and visit desert area ?
Should I book an ac room ?

Its very sad that temperate is not yet suitable for tourists. Some showers in coming days can really make all of us happy.
