Hiring a Car from Ajmer to Jodhpur
What is the quickest way to get from Ajmer to Jodhpur? Can you have someone drive you, or is the 5 hour train the quickest way?

By road, it's just under 200km from Ajmer to Jodhpur, so should take less than 5 hours. But the train would be more comfortable, less stressful and significantly cheaper so if it's conveniently scheduled I'd take it.

there are also many buses going to Jodhpur - take around 4 and a half hours. Train is definitely more comfortable or else your own taxi.
