The way you book for first day, the same way you would be required to book for second day.

But, you can't do for more than 5 persons. You would be required to use to book accommodation for more than 5 persons!

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board site offer to book rooms 1 month prior to the day you stay so the way i book for 21st july the same way i have to book for 22nd and 23rd of july

offical site say 1 transaction per month?

It means you need to do booking for 12 persons.

You should get three persons registered on the website. You need to attempt for one day booking through your Log in ID. Next day second person should use his/her ID to book the rooms. Same way the third person should try with his/her ID on third day.

We went to mata vaishnodevi darshan in 1st week of may 2012 . We faced the same problem. At last we took a chance and did'nt book rooms online. We reached katra and we booked rooms at saraswati bhavan - uphill for night stay and at katra for following night.

There is a change in our plan, we r visiting srinagar first n then on the LAST day leaving early morning from srinagar for jammu.

We could not get any reservation for staying at the bhavan, it was ALL booked.

However, by mistake my husband booked one by the shrine for jammu.

What time should we leave srinagar, to reach jammu, rest for a while, freshen up and leave for katra, so that we can reach the bhavan, before 12:00pm?

Once we reach up, where do we rest, have bath, so as to enable us to go for morning darshan, by 6am. Kindly guide if u can.

Please clarify the statement so that we could respond properly
You would be taking at least ten hours to reach Katra from Srinagar and another at least six hours from Katra to Bhawan.
In between you would require at least two hours in getting refreshed.

Further, there are free dharmashalas also available at Bhawan where you can take rest.!

Am writing to you, since you seem to be quite well versed with travelling. Anyway if somebody else, has any reply to my queries, plz do reply.

There seems to be lot of confusion n very little time.

Actually our tickets r booked upto jammu via srinagar, since we could not get any booking(accomodation) for katra n Bhavan, we changed our plan. We r going to Vaishnodevi after visiting Srinagar. Now the problem is, I thought, my younger son n myself we'll get off at Srinagar instead of Jammu, n we will meet my elder son at srinagar airport, who is coming by the next flight, but when we enquired out here, she said that is not possible, but I could request them on the day we r boarding.

Else we will have to go to Jammu, meet there n then proceed by bus/cab to srinagar.

My query is will we get a bus/cab at around 1 in the afternoon, what time will we reach Srinagar n then what about the hotel, it will be too late by the time we reach there, is it safe? PLZ GUIDE.

Secondly, one room has been booked by mistake for the 2nd Aug at Vaishnavi dham, Jammu. So we thought when we come from SRINAGAR, we could rest there for sometime, then go to KATRA, start going up, freshen up, then proceed for POOJAN at 8:00am. Is it possible to take a bus or cab by 6am on 2nd from srinagar, so we can accomodate everything? Prakaant kindly guide.

You may deboard at Srinagar, and yes, she is correct! You will have to make a request in writing while getting boarding pass issued at airport that you wish to get down at Srinagar and do not wish to continue till Jammu. That way, you would be issued boarding pass for Srinagar.

Generally you won't be getting any bus at around 1 PM as all buses leave by morning. Even the cabs do not proceed after 1.30 PM to Srinagar. If started thy would make night stay at Patnitop.

The room would be handed over to you only after 1 PM on 2nd August.

The buses start from Srinagar at around 6 AM. And you would reach Jammu at around 6 PM

Thanx, are u sure bus starts at 6AM from Srinagar, anyways we can rest at Jammu n then proceed for Katra, I think that should be fine n not tiring.

I have booked 6 ticket (5+1)of helicopter for Vasnodevi by Pawan Hans on 14th Aug.
Last Person (Male) Whose ticket Booked separately, Is not able to come on trip. One Additional family member is coming (cousin Sister) on the trip. I would like to know how can we Transfer the same ticket.

God willing we are planning to visit Vaishnodevi Shrine on 22nd October. We are 5 of us 4+1 child.

Iam closely monitoring the helicopter booking for the past few days, though my booking can be done only on 21st September. The opening is 00.00hrs and by 00.05hrs most of the slots in the morning session is booked.

Are there any professional travel agents who can do the booking for us?.

I noticed that the yatris need to report 1 hour before for the flight. Is that a must?.

Can someone give us some clarity?.

The agents also have to take same online booking which you would be taking, hence, please depend on yourself!
It is required for two reasons - one is obviously security and other is to know possible numbers of no show!

I was able to do my booking for 22nd October in the morning session KATRA-SANCHIJET-KATRA. The Arti booking could not be done. I booked Yatri Parchi also. Thanks for your advice.

Due to Navratri rush, you might not have got the booking for aarti. But still there are chances of attending it.

If you reach general queue section at aound 3.30 - 4.00, you would be required to ask the attendant to permit you to attend aarti from hall. He will tell you when to come, and that way you can attend aarti from hall.
