It seems your prayers have been answered!
The upper reaches in the Kashmir valley experienced heavy snowfall yesterday while most parts in north Kashmir, including world famous ski resort of Gulmarg, had light snowfall.
The world famous ski resort of Gulmarg experienced about six inches of snowfall, first of this year, much to the delight of tourists and skiers who were out on the slopes.
However, the Affarwat, Khilanmarg and other upper reaches also experienced heavy snowfall.

Winter is receding from north India in general. But considering how crazy weather has become it is difficult to guess.

Heavy Snow in Gulmarg, but....

Srinagar: The world famous tourist resort of Gulmarg witnessed a heavy snowfall late Friday evening, but only for about half an hour.
Reports said the size of the falling snow flakes was unprecendently large and locals and tourists came out to witness the fall.
But later the snowfall stopped.
