| Want to travel Leh to Dharamsala/Mcleod Ganj 9/1? On 9/1 or so I will finish up my volunteer work in Ladakh and need to travel to McLeod Ganj to reunite with my girlfriend. I have read that a taxi for 4 would cost 8200 rupees. I would love to share the costs and the journey with others who might also need to go. Please let me know. Thanks! Ivan |

| Ivan alternatively you could buy a ticket in a shared jeep I think but they cram the jeep a little more. |

| The share jeeps from Leh to Manali leave from the taxi stand in Leh at around 1am & take 16-20hrs (depending on conditions) through some of the most stunning extreme scenery you'll ever see. About 4yrs ago the cost was 1200Rs for front seat 1000 for middle 800 for rear (not recommended!) The price as probably increased a bit now. From Manali you can get a local bus to D'sala.
