Visiting Kashmir during Mid September 2009

We will be visiting Kashmir during the time frame of 18th September to 24th September 2009. How should we plan the route and please suggest some good hotels and restuarants.

You may get hotels to stay even if you reach there.

On restaurants, I would suggest Krishna Dabha in Srinagar, Dana pani in Pahalgam and some roadside stuff in Gulmarg.

All were very good.. price range of Rs. 1000 - Rs. 1250 per day per double room.. bit on the higher side but good quality.
